LCMS Eagles close regular season with West sweep

The Lincoln County Middle School boys basketball teams closed out the regular season with a home tripleheader with West Jessamine Middle School.
Lincoln swept the regular-season finale, clinching first place and the regular season championship in the Salt River Conference (SRC) in the sixth- and seventh-grade divisions. The Lincoln eighth-graders finished in second place heading into this week’s postseason tournament and finished as regular-season runners-up. The sixth grade team is 27-8, the seventh grade, 26-3, and the eighth grade, 21-7.
The SRC postseason tourney starts at home for Lincoln. The seventh-grade team played its first round game Wednesday. The sixth- and eighth-grade teams play tonight at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
