Crab Orchard Elementary School students were taught the value of dairy farmers, the importance of milk, the processes of dairy products and the economic importance of farming during a visit by the Southland Dairy Farmers Mobile Unit. Teachers said that their students greatly enjoyed this activity. Family Connections and COES wished to thank Southland Dairy Farmers for coming to their school and allowing students and staff to be a part of the learning opportunity.
