The annual Fort Logan F.O.P. Lodge #84 Chill’s 5K is still over a month away, but the time is now to get in on the reduced early registration fee.
The registration fee to participate in the Chill’s 5K Run/Walk, which is held in memory of Capt. T.J. and Cindy Hill, is $20 if you register before Aug. 20. Runners/walkers getting in on the early registration can choose between dri-fit or cotton t-shirts.
The Chill’s 5K will be held Monday, Sept. 4, at 10 a.m. in downtown Stanford.
The Fort Logan F.O.P. Lodge #84 presented $3,000 in cash scholarships to five different students in Lincoln and Garrard County from money raised during last year’s event.
The registration fee after Aug. 20 is $25. Cotton shirts will be available on the day of the race while the supply lasts.
