STANFORD – Unique patterns, colors and landscapes lined the walls of the Lincoln County Public Library last week as middle school students showcased their artwork.
Lincoln County Middle School (LCMS) art teacher Alli Gibson invited the public to peruse the upstairs rooms of the library last Thursday evening where middle schoolers put their artwork on display.
Food and drinks were provided by the LCMS Kidz Catering Company, under the direction of Life Skills teacher Cathy Hill.
The artwork, comprised of pieces from sixth, seventh and eight-grade students, will be on display at the library until May 10.
This year’s winners of the Sue Irwin Art Showcase include: Victoria Long, first place, $100; Gracie Gay, second place, $50; and Fate Perry, third place, $25.
