LC Circuit Clerk holiday closings

The office of Lincoln County Circuit Clerk, Teresa Reed, will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25 and Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Wilderness Trace KFTC to meet

The Wilderness Trace Chapter of Kentuckians for the Commonwealth will meet Monday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Inter-County Energy Community Room, 1009 Hustonville Road (entrance is on the left side of the building).

Masonic celebration

The brothers of Lincoln and McKinney Masonic Lodges will be hosting a St. John’s Day Celebration! This event is free and open to the public. It includes food, music and entertainment. Everything starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27 at the historic Ballroom above the Bluebird in downtown Stanford. Come and learn a little about the world’s oldest fraternity.

LC Health Department closings

The Lincoln County Health Department will be closed Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday and Monday, Dec. 31 and Tuesday, Jan. 1 in observance of the New Year Holiday.

Nature’s Thyme Herb Group to meet

Nature’s Thyme Herb Group will meet at the Garrard County Extension office on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 6:30 p.m.. Eric Comley, Garrard County 4-H Extension Agent will discuss WILDLIFE IN THE YARD. Blood Drive

Kentucky Blood Center is holding a blood drive today (Thursday, Dec. 20) from 1 to 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall at the Stanford Presbyterian Church, 213 East Main Street. Walk-ins are welcome. Each donor will receive a $10 gift card.

Stanford Planning & Zone meeting

Stanford Planning and Zoning Board will meet Thursday, Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. at the historic L & N Depot. (changed from Dec. 27)

LC Public Library holiday closings

Lincoln County Public Library will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25 and will close at noon on Monday, Dec. 31 and will be closed Tuesday, January 1.

LC Public Library Open House

Don’t shop ‘til you drop this holiday season! Stop in at the Lincoln County Public Library’s Open House on Friday, Dec. 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a cup of hot chocolate, a cookie or two and register to win a holiday gift. Don’t forget to stock up on books and DVDs for the holiday season.

Grief Support Group to meet

Crab Orchard Community Garden

A Crab Orchard Community Garden, sponsored by the Lincoln County 4-H, is free to residents and children. Grow food and share with your neighbors. Supplies provided. Meet at the city park in Crab Orchard the first Friday of each month from 5 to 6 p.m. For more information, call (606) 365-2447.

Girls Who Code Clubs

Girls Who Code Club for grades 3-5 and 6-12 meet at Lincoln County Public Library.
