Judy Mercer, of Stanford, is a new author who has just published her first children’s story, “Arden the Airedale”.
Published in January of 2019, with Archway Publishing, the book is based on a true story and is a dedication to an aging beloved pet Airedale named Arden (Judy’s grand dog) which belongs to her daughter, Alicia. The story itself took place in Lexington while Alicia was a student at the University of Kentucky.
“I think children (and adults) can relate to a real story, especially about an animal, a pet, a member of the family. Arden has certainly been a member of our family for many years,” says Mercer.
Mercer’s book can be found on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Archway Publishing, as well as gift stores and restaurants in the area.
The book can also be purchased from Mercer herself.
