The Lincoln County Public Library already has its calendar set for November and the first event is coming up on Nov. 12.
First on the LCPL November calendar is Exploration Station-Candy Science. The program will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. Participants will be using Halloween Candy to do science experiments. Density, diffusion, reactions, etc. will be explored.
Two days later, on Thursday, Nov. 14, the LCPL will welcome in Brian Duncan from Edward Jones at 6:30 p.m. Duncan will be presenting the program Investing in the Late Innings of the Bull Market.
Baseball fans can get more nervous as the game goes on. Similarly, some investors become more concerned the longer a bull market runs. We’ll examine the economic outlook in the late innings of the bull market late-cycle risks, market curve balls late-cycled opportunities staying in position and keeping a balanced portfolio.
A chili dinner will be served. RSVP by Nov. 12 by calling the library at 606-365-7513.
The third program this month will be Hemp & CBD in Kentucky on Thursday, Nov. 21, 6 p.m. Curious about CBD oil? How does it work? What are the effects? What about organic growing methods and pesticide use? Is it safe for my pet? Learn all about hemp and CBD at this class presented by Kentucky Green Grass. No registration necessary, please join us.
Any questions may be directed to the library at 606-365-7513.
