Joan Crawford Hamilton, 88, of Waynesburg, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at her residence. She was born on June 7, 1932, daughter of the late Emory and Ruth Moore Elliott. She was a retired realtor. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Hamilton of Lexington, and a nephew, Joseph Woods of Waynesburg. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alexander Hamilton; a sister, Jessie Woods; and a nephew, Shannon May. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 at the New Life Church of God in Waynesburg with Bro. David Eastham officiating. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at the New Life Church of God in Waynesburg. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
