Artie B. (Beaver) Farris, 53 of Lancaster, formerly of Crab Orchard, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 15th, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital, Danville, Kentucky. Born April 19, 1968, in Stanford, Kentucky the son of Connie Hoeck Farris and the late Artie G. Farris. He became a truck driver at the age of sixteen. He was self-employed for many years. Beaver was an employee of Jenkins & Orange Paving Company. He was a faithful member of the Crab Orchard Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, shooting skeet, and watching NASCAR racing.
Survivors include his mother, Connie Hoeck Farris; Two Sisters, Ellen Farris Gill and Angela Creech & Husband, Jeff; One Niece, Amy Nicole Gill; One Great Nephew, Jude Denney; One Great Niece, Ezra Bostick; Many friends and coworkers also survive.
In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by one nephew, Brandon Gill.
Funeral Service 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with J. Marklee Raulerson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 19th at McKnight Funeral Home
Pallbearers were Lester & Lucas Hopkins, Jeff Creech, Tom Gill, Danny Hoeck & Rocky Farris and Honorary Pallbearers were Jude Denney, Jenkins & Orange Paving Co. & His Truck Driving Friends.
