Sandy Bailey Brent, 70, of Stanford, KY passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Landmark of Lancaster. Born on February 4, 1951 in Bloomington, IL to the late Earl and Martha Rose Bishop Bailey. She was the widow to the late Donald Brent. She was a member of New Beginnings Methodist Church. Sandy had worked at Ft. Logan Hospital and Ephraim McDowell throughout her life. She enjoyed collecting arrowheads, refinishing furniture and researching genealogy. Sandy loved children, she influenced and impacted countless kids in the community for many years.
Survivors include three siblings, Susan Chambers (Danny), Wilma Maples (Lonnie) and Leslie Bailey (Flora) all of Stanford, KY; three nephews, Kenny Chambers (Christy), Scott Maples and Jeremy Maples; two nieces, Keesha Chambers Summers (Edward) and Stacy Maples Crain (Jeff); and a very special friend, Mitzi Lucas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Brent; parents, Earl and Martha Rose Bishop Bailey.
A one-day service has been scheduled for Friday, November 12, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11: 00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Jonathan Grizzell officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers are Kenny Chambers, Scott Maples, Jeremy Maples, Conner Maples, Andrew Maples and Edward Summers.
