Mr. David Wayne Taylor, 67 of Waynesburg passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at his home. He was the husband of Dana Taylor whom he married on September 30, 1972. He was born on September 5, 1954 in Hustonville to the late Homer C. and Aileen (Duggar) Taylor. He was a very talented cabinet maker and was of the Baptist faith. He cherished his time with his family and friends, always lending a helping hand to others. Survivors include his loving wife, Dana Taylor of Waynesburg; Son, Eric Taylor & wife, Pamela of Crab Orchard; Daughter, Heather & husband, Jeremy of Stanford; three grandchildren, Kristin Taylor, Zane & Hallie Mullins; two sisters, Vena Long and Sarah Floyd; brothers, Eugene & Denton Taylor. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Young, Phyllis Floyd and Velma Messenger. Pallbearers include Mike Terry, Logan Adams, Christian Wiley, Ricky Clark, Troy King & Kelly Hazlett. Honorary Pallbearers are Rick Shangraw, Mark Young, Dave Terry & Jordan Hiatt Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6 until 8:30 pm at McKnight Funeral Home. Funeral Services are at 11 am on Thursday, February 3rd at McKnight Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
