Ralph Bernard Hasty, 87, of Marshall, NC passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, at home.
Mr. Hasty was born in Crab Orchard, KY on January 14, 1935, son of the late Carlton “Carl” Elijah and Verlin Helton Hasty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Albert, Delbert, Delmus and Lonnie Hasty and two sisters: Wanda and Imogene.
Survivors include his wife: Kathy Hasty; two sisters: Augusta Manuel (James) of Crab Orchard, KY, and Janet Swanson of Calhoun; one brother: Michael Hasty (Elda) of Sugar Valley, GA; his sons: Greg Hasty (Crystal) and Jeff Hasty (Linda) of Indianapolis, IN; his daughters: Jeanette Gipson (Scott) of Nashville, TN; Tamara Arbogast (James) of Marshall, NC; and 5 grandchildren: Gregory, Abigail, Jack, Ian and Aiden; and 3 step-grandchildren: Scott, Sara and Trenton; as well as several step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID concerns, the family has chosen to have a graveside service with Masonic Rites later this spring at Mt Zion Church of Christ Cemetery in Crab Orchard, KY.
