NEWS RELEASE
Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital recently recognized one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care. Kelli Lange, a nurse in the Obstetrics Unit at EMFLH, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award. Lange has been caring for patients at EMFLH for two years.
She was nominated by several of her patients who stated that she made their labor experience amazing. The patients said Lange’s knowledge and calmness during their labor made them feel comfortable and safe. One patient noted that Lange seemed to be more like a friend and not just her nurse.
Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day. Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital and other Ephraim McDowell facilities.
