Donald E. Manuel, 61, of Pine Grove Road, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his residence after complications from a heart ailment. Husband of Connie Beldon Manuel whom he married June 9, 2001. Donald was born June 13, 1961 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Woodrow and Edith Faye Denny Manuel. Donald was so much, a devoted husband, loving dad, papaw and brother, a hard-working supportive family man. Donald was currently employed as a maintenance technician at Hitachi in Berea. Donald was a skilled wood trim craftsman. His quality craftsmanship will long remain in the many commercial and residential buildings throughout Central Kentucky.He loved music and to collect albums. He really enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Donald deeply loved to be with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors Include his Wife, Connie Beldon Manuel; Three Daughters, Brittanee Paige & Husband Perry Bolduc,
Arika & Husband Devin Estes, & Irena Manuel & Fiancé’ Kyle Howard; Stepson, Brad (Lee Ann) Smith; 10 Grandchildren: Jackson Smith, Alexa Estes, Braden “Bear” Smith, Eiryn Estes, Rebecca Smith, Owen Estes, Elliot Holland, Blake Holland, Aelia Bolduc & Soren Bolduc; Two Brothers, Jay Manuel & John Manuel; Six Sisters:
Diana (Sterling) Mounce, Sherry Napier, Sandra (Gary) Davis, Georgia (Russell) Shoemaker, Debra Stickler, Carrollee (Julian) Baker.
In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by two brothers, David & Woodrow Manuel, Jr.
and two sisters, Mary Cathleen Manuel & Patricia Napier
Pallbearers Include: Devin Estes, Kyle Howard, Jay Manuel, Jackson Smith, Bryson Morrow, James Gross, Russell Shoemaker & Jerry Noland and Honorary Pallbearers: John Manuel, Ricky Bowen, Bear Smith, Owen Estes, Elliot & Blake Holland & Gary Davis.
Funeral Services will be 12 Noon on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Manuel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM at McKnight Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions can made to the ALS Association at PO Box 37022 Boone, IA 50037-0022
