Kids in Lincoln County have a new place to cut loose and play games now that the McKinney Crossing Event Center is open.
Located at 65 Main Street in McKinney, the new event center is full of fun for kids, and adults, with pool tables, air hockey tables and arcade games.
Joseph and Heather Brown, both born and raised in McKinney, purchased the partially renovated building – originally built by Noble New – and turned it into a place where kids can play, as well as host birthday parties.
The couple even put to use the old McKinney School popcorn machine.
“Our vision is a place where kids and families can have safe and affordable fun,” Heather Brown said.
McKinney Crossing is open to the public on Friday nights from 5 to 10 p.m. A $5 admission covers the cost to play games unlimited at no additional charge. Admission only applies to people who are playing games. Concessions are also available.
Throughout the rest of the week, the center is available for private parties such as birthday parties, family gatherings and more.
The Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce officially cut the ribbon on the McKinney Crossing Event Center on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
