Kerry Dallas Brogle, 65, of Moreland went to his heavenly home on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Born in Lancaster on October 12, 1959, he was the son of W.C. Brogle and the late Ida Mae East Brogle. Kerry passed peacefully from this life to the next, doing what he did best- spreading joy and laughter everywhere he went. Always quick with a joke or to lend a helping hand, he was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Kerry was employed by Norfolk Southern in Danville, KY, but his real passion was his cattle and his farming. He shared that passion with his children and grandchildren, who are eternally thankful for the time spent with him. He was always quick to share stories about and introduce his family to his work friends. Kerry made everyone feel like they were his favorite. He made every room brighter. He was selfless, a true friend, and good to his core. Kerry is survived by his father, W.C. Brogle; daughters: Bobi (R.D.) Middleton of Moreland and Shelby (Jacob) Elliott of Lancaster; sons: Michael (Corrie) Brogle of Danville, Tucker (Michelle) Brogle of Lancaster, and Will Brogle of Moreland; Becky Brogle, the mother of his children, who he loved dearly; sisters: Leticia (Calvin) Smith of Moreland, Annita (Jason) Witte of Moreland, twin sister, Terry (Tim) Crawford of Bryantsville, and Lona (Kenny) Merriman of Hustonville; and brother, Thomas (Jennifer) Brogle of Moreland. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren who think he was the funniest, best Poppa in the world: Michael David Middleton, Caleb Middleton, Jude Middleton, Blythe Middleton, Atlas Elliott, Shelby Grace Brogle, Annabelle Brogle, Clara Brogle, Owen Brogle, August Elliott, and David Michael Brogle; and many nieces and nephews who remember him fondly as Koggy. Visitation is 4:00 PM- 9:00 PM Monday at New Hope Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Bro. Steve Meece officiating. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Brogle, Tucker Brogle, Will Brogle, R.D. Middleton, Jacob Elliott, Thomas Brogle, Michael David Middleton, Caleb Middleton, and Jude Middleton. Honorary pallbearers are beloved nephews and nieces. Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
