Marcia Simpson Smith, 73, of Danville, KY passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Born on January 31, 1951 in Danville to the late Tony and Roberta Griffin Simpson. She is the widow to the late John Anthony Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Lea Ann Smith of Mississippi and Dayna Carmicle (Todd) of Salvisa, KY; one sister, Kathy Bourne (Tommy); and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Smith; and parents, Tony and Roberta Simpson. A private family service will be held at a later date.
