Lincoln County’s seventh-grade girls advance in SRC tourney; sixth-grade season ends

The Lincoln County Middle School sixth- and seventh-grade girls basketball teams opened the Salt River Conference (SRC) Postseason Tournament with different outcomes, with the sixth-graders bowing out in the first round while the seventh-graders moved on.
The Lady Eagle seventh-graders (17-2, 10-2 SRC) earned the right to advance with a decisive win over visiting East Jessamine Middle. Lincoln’s sixth-grade Lady Eagles (8-11, 4-8) fell to host Anderson County in their tourney game.
