Lincoln grand jury indicts four

A Lincoln County grand jury indicted the follow people on Aug. 29:
• Harold Sterling Herring, 40, 3130 Preachersville Road, Stanford: receiving stolen property $500 or more but less than $10,000; and two counts of theft by deception more than $500. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or property. Stanford Police Officer Eric Taylor testified.
• Eric L. Halcomb, 25, 122 Portman Ave., Stanford: third-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but less than $10,000; and theft by deception more than $500. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or property. Taylor testified.
• Seth A. Buscher, 29, 100 Spruce Dr., Waynesburg: receiving stolen property $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bail was set at $10,000 cash or property. Tonya Murphy testified.
• Kasey M. Nunemaker, 26, 304 Church St. Apt. B, Stanford: 12 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument for allegedly possessing and/or passing forged checks; five counts of theft by deception less than $500 for allegedly issuing worthless checks; and four counts of identity theft. Bail was set at $25,000. Stanford Police Officer Tim Morris testified.
