Lincoln County Health Department is currently seeking nominations for the Lincoln County Board of Health for the following seats: veterinarian, optometrist, engineer, registered nurse and lay person/consumer.

Anyone residing in Lincoln County may nominate themselves or someone else to serve on the Board of Health. The Board of Health is made up of 12 members who serve a two-year term. Board members are expected to attend meetings quarterly. Nominations are due no later than May 1.

KRS 212.020 is the Kentucky Revised Statute that organizes a County Health Board. Board of Health requirements are governed by Kentucky Administrative Regulation 902 KAR 8:150.
