She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where she received her degree in elementary education in 2002. She completed her master’s in educational leadership and in 2014 received her Rank 1 in supervision of instruction. She has worked her entire 20-year career in the district teaching at Hustonville Elementary School and has also served in numerous leadership roles during her time there.

“I am very grateful and honored to be selected for this position at Stanford,” Foster said. “I look forward to serving the staff and students in this new role.”

Foster and her husband, Damon, have two children, Emma and Tucker, both of whom attend Lincoln County High School. She enjoys attending her children’s sporting events, spending time with family and friends, cooking, entertaining and enjoying the outdoors in her free time.

Principal Julia Duncan said she’s excited to welcome Foster to the Wildcat family.

“She brings many years of experience, a great attitude, and a willingness to serve,” Duncan said.
