Chad Davis has been named Lincoln County Schools’ new Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the district. Davis has been the principal at Waynesburg Elementary the past two school years and was the assistant principal at Stanford Elementary three years ago.

Davis is a 1998 graduate of Lincoln County High School and attended Stanford Elementary from Kindergarten until eighth grade. After high school he received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He later received a master’s degree and his Rank 1 in School Administration from Morehead State University.
Superintendent Bruce Smith was impressed with the administrative experience and success Davis had while in Laurel County and now Lincoln County.
“Chad was very successful at Colony Elementary as a principal for several years,” Smith said. “He’s been great since returning to Lincoln County and we feel like he will be a great fit in helping guide the district foward in helping equip our teachers with what they need to make sure our students can be successful.”
“I am very excited for this opportunity. I grew up in this county, began my career in this county and want to see our county school system do great things,” said Davis. “We have great principals and teachers in this school district and I am looking forward to working with them to provide the best educational experience possible for our students.”
