Ina “Louise” Stafford, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Indianapolis on Saturday. She was 91. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Lorn and Bea Cochren Atwood.

Louise was born in Casey County, Kentucky, in 1932. She shared her life with William C. Stafford, to whom she was married for 71 years until his passing, and with whom she lovingly raised seven children.

Louise also was like a mother to many people beyond her own children. She loved to read, learn, help and travel. She retired from Brylane (formerly Lane Bryant) in Indianapolis, where she worked for many years.
