Nancy Folger Caldwell, 76, of Stanford, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born on October 14, 1947 in Stanford to the late William “Bill” E. Folger and the late Emma “Boshie” Hagan Folger.
She was a beloved wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother, and a cherished friend to many. Nancy’s life was marked by her unwavering love for her family, her commitment to her work, and her passion for her hobbies. In her leisure time, Nancy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed bowling and golfing, but her absolute favorite was playing Bridge. Nancy retired from Lincoln County Public Schools after 15 years as an administrative assistant. She was a member of Stanford Baptist Church.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Larry Caldwell of Stanford; one son, Chris Caldwell (Deana) of Richmond, KY; one daughter, Anne Hagan Marsee (Mickey) of Danville, KY; two brothers, Curt Folger (Melissa) of Stanford and Robert “Bob” Folger of Crossville, TN; six grandchildren, Laynie Craig (Josh), Emory Lucas, Ethan Nordine (Sarah), Logan Marsee, Zachary Marsee and Zebbie Maxwell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Emma “Boshie” Folger.
A private family service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bro. Greg Hancock officiating. Burial will follow graveside services.
Active Pallbearers are Ethan Nordine, Logan Marsee, Hagan Folger, Wes Folger, Sammy Caldwell and David Caldwell.
