The 45th District Boys’ Soccer Tournament had to wait another day to see who would be advancing to the title game.

Games that were scheduled for Tuesday at Lincoln County – Boyle County vs. Garrard County and Lincoln vs. Danville – had to be postponed after heavy rains and thunderstorms moved into the area.

Those games will now be played tonight at 6 and 8 p.m., with the district final set for Saturday at 6 p.m.

Boyle comes in as the No. 1 seed and, after posting a complete sweep of the district in the regular season, is the favorite to advance to the title game.

Tonight’s second game of No. 2 Lincoln vs. No. 3 Danville is expected to be a battle. Lincoln, which was knocked out of last season’s district tournament by Danville, defeated the Admirals 2-1 in the regular season.
