Connie Sue (Adams) French, 68, of Crab Orchard, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, at her residence.
Connie was born in Crab Orchard, on May 12, 1949, a daughter of the late George “Bud” and Anna Francis (Brock) Adams. She was the wife of Paul T. French whom she married on November 24, 1965. Connie was a member of the Crab Orchard Baptist Church and enjoyed travelling to Florida, going yard selling, collecting antiques and making new friends.
Survivors include her husband, Paul T. French; son, Ricky French and wife Monica; daughter, Paula Hardy; sister, Georgia and husband Grady Gilbert; brother, Buddy Adams and wife Debbie; sister, Clydia and husband Larry Akins; three grandchildren, Gibson French, Andrew Hardy and Tevin Holcomb; aunt, Bonnie Lee; uncle, Nathaniel Brock and wife Edna; aunt, Betty Fields; special caregivers, Norma Decker and Janice Southard and Many Friends.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her brothers, George and Kenneth Adams.
Active pallbearers are Jimmy Hiatt, Chris Carter, Jay Smith, Paul Playforth, Larry Pettit and David Osborne. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Carpenter, Johnny Holcomb and Shayne Adams.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 21) at Crab Orchard Baptist Church with Bro. T.J. Godbey officiating. Burial will follow in the Crab Orchard Cemetery.
Visitation was Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Crab Orchard Baptist Church.
