Dear Editor,
For 8 years in a row, thousands of runners visited Lincoln County during the Bourbon Chase race! Once again, Stanford and Lincoln County came together and worked to make our exchange one of the best! There are way too many folks to name, but we had volunteers working traffic control, hospitality, and managing the runners as they came in to town. Many local businesses supported this effort by staying open and offering shelter and restrooms to our guest! We had visitors from 46 states and 6 countries! What an opportunity to show off our fabulous town!
It’s really great to live in a community that works together on such a large scale! To EVERYONE that help, our sincerest thanks!
