Stanford Nazarene Church news: Nov. 10, 2016

By Buford Edwards II

Praise the Lord from Stanford Church of the Nazarene. Our hope is that you will find our article both informative and a blessing in some small way.
Our mission at Stanford Nazarene Church is to share the gospel message of Jesus to the world and to be a place of healing and hope to all in need. This past Sunday we were blessed by the Holy Spirit as Bro. Buford brought the Word from Galatians 6 concerning Gentle Restoration.
Beginning Sunday, November 13, our Sunday evening worship service will begin at 5 p.m.
On Saturday, November 12 at 2 p.m. the Ladies Group is hosting a “Paint Party” in the fellowship hall. The cost is $20 for adults and $8 for children. Come and bring a friend.
Join us on Sunday, December 4 for our annual Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner as well as on Wednesday, December 14 for the Children’s Christmas party, and finally on December 18 for our Christmas Jubilee.
Looking for a home church? There are so many excellent churches in our area it may be hard to find that right “fit.” If this describes you, stop by and visit us sometime. What’s our dress code? Simply put, there isn’t one. Come as you are, we just ask that you wear clothes. For more information about the church and different activities that are available, visit us on the web at www.stanfordchurchofthenazarene.com, and as always don’t forget to “like” us on Facebook. Also, you can always contact the church at (606) 365-1260 and leave a message. Pastor Buford or someone else will give you a call back. Want to see a service? We have established a Youtube channel and all services are posted to the channel and linked to the Facebook page.
