Hello and praise the Lord from the Stanford Church of the Nazarene. He is Risen! He is Risen indeed! We are glad you have taken the time to read our article this week and hope you find some encouragement from it.

Question of the week: Do you know that love conquers all, even death?

To find more answers, you can visit YouTube and watch this past Sunday’s services. We joined together on Sunday morning looking at 1 Corinthians 15 and Paul’s words to the church regarding how the Love of God conquered even death, by the death and resurrection of Jesus. Sunday night was an exciting time as we held our Annual Church Meeting.

At the annual meeting, we announced the official appointment of Rev. Dennis Hasty as our Associate Pastor. Bro. Dennis will be working closely with many of our community outreach programs.

On Sunday morning, May 5, we will be visited by the Gideon’s International, hearing about God’s work around the globe. We will also be receiving a love offering for Gideon’s International.

Want to sing? Come join us on Sunday nights. The first Sunday night of every month is “Song and Testimony” night and every Sunday night is “open mic.” If the Lord has placed a song and/or testimony on your heart we would encourage you to come be with us and share.

Want to watch live but can’t make it on Sunday? Navigate to Bro. Buford’s Facebook page, (Buford Edwards II) and tune in for the Facebook Live, stream of Sunday’s services.
