NEWS RELEASE
Chad Davis has been named the new principal of Waynesburg Elementary School. Davis was the assistant principal at Stanford Elementary last year. Before that he was the principal at Colony Elementary in Laurel County for eight years and has a total of 11 years experience as a head principal.
Davis is a 1998 graduate of Lincoln County High School. After high school he received his Bachelors Degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He later earned a masters degree from Morehead State University and then his Rank 1 in School Administration, also from Morehead State.
“I’m honored to have been selected as the next Principal at Waynesburg Elementary,” Davis said. “I look forward to working with the staff and parents to give our students the best possible education to help prepare them for a successful future.”
Davis and his wife, Kasi, live in Lincoln County with their five children. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching sports and relaxing by the pool in his spare time.
