A 19-year-old was killed in an ATV accident early Saturday morning.

Lincoln County Coroner Farris Marcum said Aden Jones, of Indianapolis, was pronounced dead at about 1:45 a.m. on Trusty Road in McKinney.

“Jones had come to Kentucky with his parents to visit property they owned on Trusty Road,” Marcum said. “They had been down a day or so to visit property, which they do quite often.”

Jones left the property on a four-wheeler and was traveling northbound on Trusty Road.

“At some point he lost control of his ATV and flipped it over and it came to rest on top of him,” Marcum said.

Jones’ parents became concerned when he didn’t return and went looking for him, according to the coroner.

The investigation is ongoing at this time. Alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor in the crash, Marcum said.
